Policy overview
This policy explains the standards that shape how the marketplace behaves in this area.
AIFreelancr uses a limited cookie model in this release. Essential platform cookies stay on. Optional site-preference memory depends on saved consent.

2. Site-preference cookies
Optional site-preference cookies remember language choice, motion preferences, ambience settings, and the last selected client plan used in pricing or signup flows.
These cookies are intended to improve continuity rather than to profile users for ads or unrelated tracking.
3. Controls and retention
Dismissed consent is shown again after seven days. Saved consent lasts one hundred eighty days unless it is changed sooner.
Users may reopen privacy choices from the homepage, marketing footer, auth footer, or legal center at any time.
4. Browser controls
Browser settings can still remove or limit cookies, but doing so may interrupt saved preferences or account continuity. Essential platform behavior may not work correctly if browser controls block all storage outright.
If browser-level blocking breaks a core marketplace flow, users may need to allow essential storage for AIFreelancr specifically.
5. Sensitive information, minors, and restricted material
Do not use AIFreelancr to collect or expose sensitive information unless the contract, the workflow, and the law genuinely allow it. Extra care is required for regulated data, confidential business information, government records, and information about children.
If a workflow calls for restricted material, the user responsible for that workflow must make sure the sharing, storage, and handling of that material is lawful and appropriate for the marketplace.
6. Automated review, moderation, and risk checks
AIFreelancr may use automated signals to detect spam, account abuse, payment irregularities, fake engagement, harmful content, or other activity that threatens marketplace integrity. Those signals can trigger review, throttling, or temporary holds while a human decision is made.
Automated review is meant to reduce risk, not remove accountability. Final enforcement may also depend on messages, contract history, funding records, profile details, and any explanation provided by the affected account.
7. Your controls and requests
You may request access, correction, deletion, or a portable copy of account information where local law gives you that right. Some records may still be retained when we need them for fraud prevention, payments, tax obligations, dispute history, or legal compliance.
Where a request affects contracts, milestones, proposals, invoices, or payout records, AIFreelancr may preserve the minimum record needed to explain how money moved and why a marketplace decision was made.
8. Retention, review, and security
We keep account, payment, messaging, and risk records for the periods needed to operate the marketplace safely, prevent abuse, respond to disputes, and meet legal obligations. We also monitor for signs of misuse, account compromise, and policy evasion.
No security system is absolute, but we use layered technical and operational safeguards designed for marketplace identity, approvals, funding, payouts, and document storage.
9. Updates and contact
When a policy changes in a way that materially affects how AIFreelancr handles data, cookies, or account controls, the document header and effective date are updated so you can see when the change began.
Questions about these policies can be sent to privacy@aifreelancr.com or legal@aifreelancr.com.
10. Service providers, integrations, and linked tools
AIFreelancr may rely on specialist providers for infrastructure, payments, identity review, messaging, support, and fraud prevention. Those providers receive the information needed for the service they perform and remain subject to contractual, technical, or operational safeguards tied to that work.
If you connect a third-party tool, imported calendar, external bank account, or workflow integration, the connected provider may also process information needed to keep that feature running. You remain responsible for deciding whether the connected service is appropriate for your own business or contract workflow.
11. International use and local law
AIFreelancr supports cross-border hiring, but local privacy, consumer, payment, labor, and dispute rules may differ from one jurisdiction to another. Where local law gives you additional rights or imposes stricter obligations, those local rules continue to apply.
If a particular feature, data flow, or identity requirement cannot be offered in a given region without creating legal or operational risk, AIFreelancr may limit or tailor that feature for the affected accounts.
12. How this policy affects active contracts and accounts
Policies in this family do not sit apart from the rest of the marketplace. If a policy issue touches identity, privacy, conduct, payment integrity, or platform misuse, it may affect the ability to post a brief, submit a proposal, release funds, message another account, or collect a payout while the issue is reviewed.
AIFreelancr tries to keep any restriction proportional to the problem being reviewed, but the marketplace may still limit a live workflow when leaving it untouched would create a material trust, privacy, or payment risk for another user.
13. Remediation, restored access, and continuing obligations
When a policy issue can be corrected, AIFreelancr may ask for updated records, edited content, identity refresh, funding clarification, or another concrete remedial step before returning the affected workflow to normal.
Restoring access does not erase the underlying history. The marketplace may continue to preserve records of the issue, the remedy, and any warnings or limits that still matter for fraud prevention, safety review, or future dispute handling.
