Privacy overview
AIFreelancr uses privacy controls built for a working marketplace. Essential platform records stay on. Optional site-preference memory only covers language, motion, audio, and plan-selection choices.
Data overview
This document explains what records are used, why they are used, and what controls exist around them.
This policy applies to information connected to AIFreelancr accounts, profile activity, briefs, proposals, contracts, support requests, funding records, payout records, and saved site-preference choices.
Índice
Use the section guide below to follow the data path from collection through rights, retention, and incident review.
18 sections
1. Information collection
AIFreelancr collects information you provide directly, such as profile details, company details, portfolio materials, messages, contract notes, tax details, payment instructions, support requests, and verification submissions.
We also collect operating records generated by the marketplace itself, such as response timing, milestone approvals, dispute history, saved preferences, risk-review outcomes, payout events, and contract activity history.
| Category | Examples | Primary purpose |
|---|---|---|
| Account details | Name, email, company, role, locale | Access, security, and communication |
| Marketplace records | Briefs, proposals, milestones, approvals, disputes | Contract operation and trust review |
| Financial records | Funding events, payout events, billing and tax details | Payment processing and compliance |
| Preference records | Language, motion, audio, and plan memory | Optional site personalization |
2. Use of information
Information is used to operate the marketplace, power hiring and delivery workflows, keep users safe, run payment and payout flows, handle disputes, and comply with legal obligations tied to identity, payments, sanctions, and abuse prevention.
AIFreelancr also uses information to improve relevance, maintain account continuity, and remember site preferences where optional preference consent has been saved.
4. Privacy choices and rights
Users can reopen privacy choices from the homepage, footer, auth footer, or legal center. Optional site-preference memory can be turned on or off without disabling the essential operation of the marketplace.
Where applicable law permits, users may request access, correction, export, restriction, or deletion of certain personal information. Some records must still be retained for payment integrity, dispute review, security, or legal compliance.
5. Retention and contact
Retention depends on the type of record involved. Contract and payment records may last longer than basic marketing or site-preference records because those records support legal, accounting, dispute, and fraud-review obligations.
Questions about this policy can be directed to the support and privacy contact points listed in the legal center.
6. Automation, ranking, and review signals
AIFreelancr may use automated systems to rank search results, detect account compromise, score proposal fit, surface relevant briefs, prevent payment abuse, and route records for additional review. Those systems support human decision-making rather than replacing it outright in higher-risk situations.
Where a ranking, hold, or review is influenced by automated signals, the marketplace may also look at message history, contract approvals, identity status, payment records, location consistency, device signals, or support history before taking a final action.
7. Minimization, accuracy, and correction
AIFreelancr aims to collect the minimum information needed to run the marketplace, move money safely, verify identity, handle disputes, and respond to legal obligations. Accounts are expected to keep profile, billing, payout, and tax details accurate so downstream records remain usable.
Where information becomes incomplete, outdated, or clearly inaccurate, AIFreelancr may request an update, pause a protected action, or rely on a corrected record for future processing.
8. Incident response and security review
If AIFreelancr detects a suspected incident involving account compromise, payment abuse, unlawful access, or misuse of sensitive information, the platform may temporarily restrict affected workflows while it reviews the issue and protects other users.
Responses may include credential rotation, session revocation, payment holds, identity re-checks, document preservation, and direct user communication where the issue materially affects account safety or legal rights.
9. Cross-border handling and service providers
AIFreelancr may rely on specialized providers for infrastructure, payments, identity review, communications, and customer support. Those providers only receive the information needed for the work they perform and remain subject to contractual safeguards.
Where information moves across borders, AIFreelancr uses contractual, technical, and operational controls intended to keep marketplace records protected while supporting international hiring and payout flows.
10. Requests, complaints, and regulator contact
You can submit privacy and data-rights requests through the legal center or by writing to privacy@aifreelancr.com. If local law gives you the right to complain to a regulator, this policy does not limit that right.
11. Operational need, lawful basis, and record integrity
AIFreelancr processes information because the marketplace cannot safely run without account identity, contract history, payment records, support history, and trust review signals. Depending on the workflow, processing may be necessary to provide the service, protect the marketplace, comply with law, prevent fraud, or respond to a request you initiated.
Record integrity matters. If a contract, payout, or dispute depends on a record, AIFreelancr may preserve that record even when another part of the account is edited, limited, or removed, because the marketplace still needs an accurate explanation of what happened and why money moved the way it did.
12. Children, sensitive categories, and special-risk information
AIFreelancr is not designed for child-directed use. Do not submit information about minors unless the workflow is lawful, necessary, and properly authorized. Extra caution is also required when a contract touches health, biometrics, government identifiers, financial credentials, or other higher-risk information categories.
If a workflow introduces higher-risk information, the user controlling that workflow must make sure the handling of that information is lawful, contractually appropriate, and genuinely necessary for the work being done.
13. Exports, portability, and account transitions
Users may request copies of certain account and contract records where local law allows it and where doing so will not compromise another person’s legal rights, payment security, or marketplace investigations. Exported records may be limited when a fuller export would expose another party’s confidential material or trust-review evidence.
If an account changes hands within a business, adds approved team members, or shifts to a new billing or payout structure, AIFreelancr may require new verification, refreshed permissions, or updated records before the account can continue using protected funding or payout tools.
14. Provider-linked records and specialized workflows
Some marketplace records exist because AIFreelancr relies on specialist providers for card funding, bank funding, identity review, payout routing, email delivery, SMS verification, and account security. Those provider-linked records may include risk outcomes, verification timestamps, settlement references, or other workflow identifiers needed to keep the marketplace coherent.
Where a protected workflow depends on one of those provider-linked records, AIFreelancr may preserve the minimum supporting detail needed to explain why a funding, payout, verification, or trust decision was made, even when another part of the account is later edited or removed.
15. Account closure, archival, and continuing records
Closing an account does not instantly erase every record tied to that account. Contract history, payment records, payout records, dispute evidence, fraud-review signals, legal requests, and certain communications may remain preserved for the periods needed to meet marketplace, financial, and legal obligations.
AIFreelancr uses archival controls to separate records that still need to exist from records that may be removed earlier. That means a user can close an account and still have a narrower record kept where the platform needs it to explain what happened later.
17. Payment, identity, and provider disclosures
When funding, payout, identity review, phone verification, fraud prevention, or tax handling is involved, AIFreelancr may share the information required to complete that step with the provider performing it. That can include payment details, identification data, device signals, contract records, and contact information, but only to the extent needed for the service.
Those provider-side records may also remain subject to their own legal or regulatory retention duties even after the connected AIFreelancr workflow has ended.
18. Legal process, safety requests, and investigations
AIFreelancr may disclose information where law, court process, regulator requests, sanctions obligations, fraud review, abuse prevention, or user safety requires it. The marketplace may also preserve relevant records while deciding how to answer a lawful request or a serious safety complaint.
Where disclosure is permitted and appropriate, AIFreelancr may also notify the affected user that a request was received, unless doing so would create legal risk, undermine an investigation, or endanger another person.
